I always wanted a Space Hopper, but my folks never seemed to take any notice. One year, after telling them the thing I wanted least for Christmas was roller skates and what I really wanted was a big orange and smiley Space Hopper. Needless to say I wasn't thrilled when I opened the present containing the skates.
Bouncer is one of my favourite of the joyfully bonkers bears I've drawn in the two decades.
He's an embodiment of the delight I would've experienced had I not got a pair of bloody roller skates from Santa!
