When the figurine 'Max' was initially sculpted, it was faithful to my design drawing in that the skull was an empty space. After some discussion with the development team it was decided, since the brand's name is the Bad Taste Bears, that a little more gore would make the piece a little more distasteful. Therefore squishy brain remnants were added to the sculpt before proceeding to production. This prototype is the brainless version, therefore, I'm assuming there aren't too many of these around.
I can't say that it's the only one in the world because there would've originally been several taken from the initial silicone mould.
This piece precedes the casting of what is known as 'greys' from which production tooling is generated.
It is signed by me and marked on the base with my unique stamp twice because my first attempt was a bit enthusiastic and bled into the sanded surface making a bit of a mess, so I did it again on the other foot, for claity, you understand.
The figurine is accompanied by an individual signed Certificate of Authenticity confirming it to be from my personal and private file.
